The timing for Suffragette couldn’t be better. I think it’s an important story and I’m happy to see it being told on screen with three strong female leads. It’s the kind of movie that makes you appreciate the past and feel hopeful about the future. I think Landslide playing in the background of this trailer is making me feel all warm and emotional inside…

I have no doubt in my mind that Room is going to be extremely difficult to watch but I oddly look forward to seeing it. I always think it’s interesting to see how filmmakers take on extremely difficult subjects. The film is based on the best-selling novel by Emma Donoghue.

THE BIG SHORT
December 23, 2015
Directed by Adam McKay
Trailer:
STARRING
Christian Bale
Steve Carell
Ryan Gosling
Brad Putt
Marisa Tomei
Feat. Selena Gomez
Ocean’s Eleven meets Argo meets Wolf of Wall Street. Ever since Foxcatcher I’ve been hoping to see Steve Carell play more serious characters. Combine that with Ryan Gosling and that’s reason enough for me to want to go. But the film is actually an interesting look at the financial crisis, specifically the buildup to the crisis, and is based on the book of the same name by Michael Lewis.
